Federal Correctional Institution – Elkton

Project summary

The Elkton Federal Correctional Institution is a correctional facility built for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Department of Justice, serving adult federal inmates. The project consisted of the new construction of a correctional facility on a 330 acre site. The facility included sixteen (16) buildings including camp housing, minimum security housing, detention facilities, dining and kitchen area, administrative and medical units, a gymnasium, central plant, warehouse, garage, storage and security outposts.
