Inclusion
INCLUSION
Ozanne manages contractor and workforce inclusion in three ways.

With the consent of the project owner, Ozanne records the number of minority, female, and local resident participation in the on-site work force. We have the ability to issue daily workforce reports containing demographic data and verify the data using a biometric fingerprint scanning device. The bioscan system has been successfully used to track hours on a project where the daily field workforce averaged 150 people.

We manage small, minority and female contractor participation through active solicitation of prime and subcontractors, joint venture partnerships, and by fostering mentor protégé relationships between majority and small, minority and female firms. On selected projects as authorized by the owner we track and report contractor participation percentages.

Finally, we seek the best talent available, including minorities and women, and provide them with the opportunity for advancement. One way we identify promising young construction personnel is by providing summer internships to students from the Cleveland Metropolitan Schools and paid internships to college students studying in construction related fields. We provide paid internship and coop opportunities in each marketplace we work in.
